"A Tribute to Carole King: Tapestry and the Making of Beautiful the Musical" 

Professor Lori Woodall, Professor of Theatre and Director of the 91×ÔÅÄ Theatre program will be presenting her research of legendary singer-songwriter Carole King's iconic career through an evening of song featuring performances by Theatre students and special Faculty guest cameos. This special tribute to the groundbreaking Tapestry album of 1971 comes before 91×ÔÅÄ Theatre's production of "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical", to educate our campus community on the life and legacy of the musical's namesake and her importance to pop music of the 20^th century. Join us for a night of inspiring music, pop culture, and a celebration of all things "beautiful"!
