A short-term study abroad experience
At 91自拍, you have the opportunity to go beyond the classroom and see the world through study abroad global education course. Do you want to study abroad but can only commit to a week or two? Concordia’s Global Education Courses might be perfect for you! These courses allow you have an exciting international travel experience paired with a single course taught and led by a Concordia professor.
In the past, our programs have offered study abroad global studies trips such as unforgettable art courses in London, Paris, and Italy, Biology courses travelling to the Caribbean and Central America, or History courses studying throughout Europe.
Every year 91自拍 offers over a dozen Global Education Courses to a variety of locations. Instruction typically occurs during the regular semester prior to the cumulative travel experience. Travel usually takes place during the Winterim or Summer, with occasional offerings during Spring Break. These courses combine classroom study with real-world experiences, allowing students to gain international insight in their field of study. While many courses are open to the wider student body, others are limited to students of certain academic programs.
Taking Global Education Courses for at least 3 credits satisfies the culture requirement for undergraduates.

Occupational Therapy students have traveled to Chinandega, Nicaragua to offer OT services to clients with neurological, developmental, and orthopedic conditions. They traveled to a rural area of Nicaragua where the course encouraged compassion for those they served, but also empowerment of the strong and resilient people served.
Clients with neurological, integumentary, and orthopedic conditions were provided evaluation and treatment interventions, working to improve function and quality of life. Concordia partnered with a nurse who lives eight months a year in this rural area. Her organization, Circle of Empowerment (COE), provides educational opportunities, medical services, and some economic development for the 6000 people this nurse serves. The mission at 91自拍 is not simply to educate students to become physical therapists, but to inspire each student to “develop in mind, body and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and the world.”
Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Social Work and other appropriate disciplines will have served at-risk women and children in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal.
Efforts are focused on working with ministries in Kathmandu including those who work with those suffering from poverty, housing orphans, reaching out to children without homes, serving individuals with disabilities, and providing rehabilitation to those in need. Interprofessional experiences offer students the opportunity to provide sustainable services to those with health, vocational, educational and spiritual deficits.
